In
this class we will be exploring some creative techniques used in paper
weaving, we will be adding texture by incorporating both natural and
manmade material elements as well as looking at random weaving
techniques. We will explore two different ways to make a simple woven
vessel with straight and bias plaiting.

Costs: £30 for a six week course (this includes all materials, resources and weekly zoom sessions).
Concessions: Courses are FREE for people with disabilities or for people with fewer than 5 GCSE’s (level 2).

Distance Learning – How Does it Work?

Zoom Workshop: Enjoy face-to-face interaction with your tutor and other
‘classmates’ over zoom. We will email you a zoom invite/link beforehand
(we can help you with this if you have never used Zoom before, we may
also be able to loan you some IT equipment if you don’t have access to a
computer, please contact us to discuss). During the Zoom call, the
tutor will explain the creative activities that you will explore during
the week. It’s your chance to ask questions and to be inspired! The zoom
session is followed by;
