Led by our lovely local volunteers this is a great way to be active, meet people and spend time by water in your local area. Our guides are full of interesting information about nature, the history of the canal and local area.
Walks are approximately 90 minutes along the towpath and are open to all. Pushchairs and wheelchairs welcome but please note that the towpath may be slightly uneven in places. It’s all about meeting people so come along on your own, or bring a friend, and stay for a cup of tea afterwards if you can.
Please wear comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water.
This walk starts and finishes at the National Waterways Museum where we have accessible toilet facilities and a café.
