On 15th August 2025 Fat Squirrel Outdoor is hosting a Fire and Feast camp especially for SEND young people and their siblings, supported by Active Impact’s Of Course We Can Programme
Let your child experience a day in the woods that balances adventure, learning, and relaxation—all in a safe, nurturing environment.
This day camp offers the perfect opportunity for kids to spend the day outdoors in the woods, engaging in exciting and educational activities. Young people will get to try their hand at throwing axes (safely supervised), learn how to set and light a campfire and enjoy cooking tasty food over the fire. There’s also time for exploring, building shelters, and playing fun outdoor games and crafting.
For those moments when they need a bit of downtime, we have tree hammocks where they can relax and watch the leaves sway above, giving them a peaceful break from the fast-paced world.
