Autumn half-term at Hidcote22 to 30 Oct

At Hidcote this autumn, we have a selection of free activities for you to enjoy on your visit.

Notice Nature Trail

Looking for something to do with the family over the autumn holidays, why not use your sensors to explore the garden at Hidcote with our free self-led autumn notice nature trail!

Find our notice nature boards and symbols as you journey through the garden and find out what you can smell, see, hear and even taste in the air! The notice nature trail takes place across our accessible pathways in the garden and is suitable for all ages.

Children’s Storytime

12pm & 1pm, under the green gazebo (in the house if raining)

Every day between the 22nd and 30th of October, join the Hidcote events team at 12pm or 1pm as we read ‘We’re going on a pumpkin hunt’ by Goldie Hawk. Ask at Visitor Welcome for more information and location on the day.

Reading age : 2 – 5 years

About ‘We’re going on a pumpkin hunt’:

Three children are hunting for the perfect pumpkin to take trick or treating. But first, they’ve got to get through the sticky spiders’ webs, the flapping bats, and then – worst of all – enter a spooky HAUNTED HOUSE! Will they find a great big pumpkin there . . . or the biggest surprise of the night?

Autumn Nature Spotter Sheet

Pick up a free copy of one of our Autumn nature spotter sheets and see what signs of autumn you can spot around the garden.

Please ask for a spotter sheet at Visitor Welcome on arrival.
