Join Creative Sustainability under the stars on their latest Of Course We Can event. Enjoy wild camping in comfort in the newly christened Bannau Breycheiniog – which you may know from previous years as the Brecon Beacons!
The wild camps taking place this summer are open to disabled and non-disabled young people aged 16-25 from Gloucestershire.
On this Creative Camping residential you can enjoy walking, canoeing, singing around the fire – and lots of good camping food and fun.
Camps are run co-operatively with everyone joining in with cooking, collecting firewood, map reading and entertaining each other. Led in partnership with young people who have been camping with Creative Sustainability for years, they will help to make the fun happen in a safe, supportive way.
Dates:
Camp One: Fri 4th to Sun 6th August
Camp Two: Fri 11th to Sun 13th August
(Please indicate your preference when booking, although please note availability cannot be guaranteed for either weekend. If you are available on both weekends, please indicate this when booking as that will help to ensure everyone who wants to can join the event)
Cost:
£100 per person in total for two nights
(Creative Sustainability don’t want money to be a barrier, so please talk to them and they will discuss a lower cost if needed)
You can express your interest by either emailing creativecamping@cscic.org or calling Ian on 07869 267 242 if you would prefer to talk in person.
Places are limited on both camps and priority will be given to those who haven’t camped, or been on a trip yet this year, with Creative Sustainability.
This event is supported by Active Impact and Gloucestershire County Council, as part of their delivery of Short Breaks in Gloucestershire for disabled children and young people.
