Japanese Textiles with tutor Bela Kielt

During this course you will look at Shibori, a Japanese manual resist dyeing technique which produces patterns on fabric. Explore through 6 techniques and create your own small piece that can be stitched on. This course will include some numeracy and geometric patterns as well as symmetry to help with creating accurate folds on fabric.

This course will run on the following  dates: November 16th, 23rd, 30th, and December 7th

Mondays 10am to 2pm at the Art Shape Studio, Brockworth

This course is free for people who are 19+ and living in Gloucestershire, who meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Do not have Maths GCSE at Grade 4/C
  • Have very low confidence using everyday Maths
