Making Cord with All Sorts, with Lizzie Godden
Saturday 21st October 2023 / 10:30am – 1:00pm (at Artspace Cinderford)
Cost: £20 including materials
As long ago as 4000BC the Ancient Egyptians were making cordage using grasses, historically cordage has been made with leather, animal hair and various plant matter. On this workshop you’ll be able to make cordage using recycled materials – magazines, newspapers, plastic bags, strips of fabric and dried stems. You’ll go away with a range of attractive cords, and you’ll be keen to make more, I’m sure!
Please bring a packed lunch.
