Mix & Mash week October Half-Term will run from 30th October-3rd November from 10am-3pm every day at our inclusive music Hub in Gloucester.
A week of music-making aimed at those with additional needs but open to all, especially those who may not have previously considered themselves musical. Its emphasis is on providing adaptive musical equipment and inclusive activities so that anyone of any ability can participate in music-making.
The activity will cost £100 in total for the 5 days and is open to disabled young people aged 10 – 25 and non-disabled young people aged 10 – 18.

This event is part of the Of Course We Can programme and is supported by Active Impact and Gloucestershire County Council, as part of their delivery of Short Breaks in Gloucestershire for disabled children and young people
Accessibility at The Hub
The Hub in Gloucester is a fully accessible venue, featuring the following:

- Everything on one floor
- A space for change accessible toilet with a winch and changing bed
- An accessible stage
- Powered doors throughout
- A custom fitted sensory room with vibroacoustic equipment for disabled, deaf or hearing impaired young people
- A huge range of musical instruments and interfaces to engage those who cannot access conventional instruments and an entirely adjustable lighting system for those with sensory issues.
