COME AND PLAY BOCCIA!

Boccia is a fun inclusive sport played from a seated position.  It will feature in next year’s Paris Paralympics, with GB in a strong position to medal. So why not get involved yourself and learn all about the sport ready to follow the Paralympic action next year.

Our club meets on Friday evenings at Leisure At Cheltenham and we will be re-starting after our summer break on Friday 1st September. new players and/or volunteers or trainee coaches will be very welcome.

We appreciate it if you get in touch with us beforehand to let us know you are coming so that we can prepare to welcome you and support you on your boccia journey. We always aim to make everyone feel welcome and to work with players to find the right adaptive equipment or make any other adjustments to help them take part.  However, if it works for you to come along last minute, that’s fine too!

We offer a mix of social and competitive boccia – so whether you want to play a few games and have a chat or train hard to compete at the highest level then we will tailor sessions to suit you. And there is everything in between with less intensive competitive opportunities available against other club players or in the local league matches.

We are heading towards our summer break, with just a few sessions left during July. Whilst new players are still very welcome to come to these, if you want to line up for a fresh start at a new activity in September then get our return date of 1st September in your diaries!

Cost is £4 per session or £15 for 4 sessions. Plus annual membership fee of £20 which will be due in September.  First session free!
