This short break opportunity is open to Gloucestershire families with one or more disabled children aged 0-25 years old. Day and weekend tickets are available (with or without camping).
Tickets will be arranged via Active Impact and will need to be collected at the Wychwood Box Office on arrival.
This is an independent activity that families can enjoy together so you can turn up at whatever time works for your family and enjoy the festival in whatever way works for you.
We will require proof of residence and eligibility to confirm ticket bookings.
Expected parental contributions for this short break (which is subsidised by Gloucestershire County Council as part of the Of Course We Can Short Breaks programme) range from £25 – £50 for adults and £10 – £25 for youths (10 – 17 yrs). Adult carers (18+) and children under 10 are free. Additional amounts apply for parking.
Accessibility
Wychwood site is mostly flat and wheelchair accessible though some areas are uneven and can get muddy in wet weather (see the Wychwood Festival website for more details).
There will be two Mobiloo accessible changing place toilets on site for the whole weekend (one located in the main arena and one in the campsite). There is a wheelchair accessible viewing platform by the main stage. Parking for blue badge holders is available on site. Active Impact and Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum are providing a sensory chill out space that is open every day.
