Ready, Thready, Sew with tutor Jo Teague

This popular course explores hand embroidery techniques. This term we will be looking at Blackwork – a traditional historic counted thread technique. From threading the needle, choosing the thread to making your embroidery into an useable object, this course will guide you through.

Wednesdays, 10am to 12pm upstairs at the Ed Shed, Gloucester (a lift is available.)

This course will run on the following dates: November 13th, 20th, 27th, December 4th, 11th. 18th

This course is free for people who are 19+ and live in Gloucestershire, who meet at least one of the following criteria:
  • Below a full level 2 in their education (5 GCSES or less)
  • Unemployed/low waged (below £20,319 per annum)
