Tales of Magic with tutor Gemma Bolwell

What is your favourite magic tale? On this course we’ll think about how and why magic features in stories and the purposes it serves. We’ll delve into a range of works by authors that use the idea of magic in different ways. We’ll also explore a range of stimuli to get you writing your own fiction. You might end up creating a land in which mirrors hold secrets, animals talk and that tree at the bottom of your garden is a gateway to a whole new adventure-filled world.
