Our next play will be “The Hound of the Baskervilles” by Tim Kelly, an adaptation of the famous Sir Arthur Conan Doyle story. It is a classic mystery with lots of suspense. I have attached a copy of the show’s poster.
At the interval for each show, we will be serving/selling typical Victorian cakes along with tea and coffee. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the cast, we have approved the Victoria Sponges, need more time to complete the research for the Battenberg and have yet to sample the Ginger Cake; it’s worth coming just for the cake!
The shows will be raising money for a local charity. The show’s director, Janet Clark, has chosen “Marshalling Men’s Minds”, a local support group for men wanting to improve their mental health.
The Hound of the Baskervilles will be staged at Churchdown Community Centre, starting at 7.30pm, on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd June. There is disability access and disabled toilets and plenty of parking.
Tickets cost £10 each and £8 for concessions (includes carers).
