Charlie’s Community Support provides free of charge physical and mental health support services to anyone affected by cancer in Gloucestershire.  Cancer changes who you are, it affects your mind, body and soul.

We provide:
1:1 mental health support in a friendly location where people can relax and be themselves
Bespoke Youth Support sessions and activities where they can meet peers also affected by cancer
A range of free Holistic Therapies, such as meditation, Reiki, reflexology, Shiastu and massage
Regular exercise classes supporting physical health such as Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi
Art therapy classes and activities providing a chance to meet others living with a cancer diagnosis
We support the patient, their family members and carers. The cancer journey can often focus heavily on the patient and therefore loved ones around can feel lost, excluded and living with the uncertainty which has a large impact on their own relationships, wellbeing and health. Our services allow everyone to explore their anxieties, thoughts of living with uncertainty, low self-esteem, and bereavement and gain skills to improve and support their wellbeing, through neutral, honest, open communication which is focused on their needs and issues. Our support is accessible throughout the cancer journey for some families this can also mean supporting them with End of Life diagnosis and bereavement.
