Churchdown Players is a friendly village-based group who have been staging plays in Churchdown since 1958.
We meet most Wednesday evenings at Churchdown Community Centre to rehearse for two or three productions a year. We also get together throughout the year for quiz evenings, skittles and theatre visits.
Our current membership is around 40, most being on the acting side. We also have some specialists for set design, lighting, sound, continuity, front of house and many more. However, the reality is that most of us are involved at many different levels. So if you come to make the tea there’s a good chance you might end up on the stage!
