Heart Heroes offers support for over 800 families with children affected by heart conditions. We work closely with children’s cardiac wards and services to ensure that no family has to face their difficult journey alone, and our support programme includes transport to hospital appointments, social events and meet-ups, professional counselling and a diverse range of activities for children designed to celebrate abilities not disabilities, from drumming to meditation. Our work is funded by the generosity of our supporters, through grants from charitable foundations and by our GiveHope regular giving campaign, www.heartheroes.co.uk/givehope.
