Inclusion statement

Inclusion Statement
At Write Up Your Street we welcome everybody who has a passion for promoting and engaging with their local community in a positive way. We see diversity as a strength. seeing everyone as an individual with different skills to bring.

We seek to remove any barriers that people may have in engaging with their communities and reporting uplifting local stories by:

Working on strengthening relationships within the team

Providing support and coaching when needed

Encouraging and celebrating different preferences of communication

Using our creative minds to include everyone who wishes to be included

When we meet at different venues we ensure everyone m is able to both get to the venue and access it with ease.

We respect the fact that everybody has different commitments and paces and try to get the balance right between not putting undue pressure on each other and encouraging each other to grow and develop our strengths.
