Forest of Dean Parkinson’s Cafe
Cinderford
The cafe is open to anyone affected by Parkinson’s, whether an individual, family member or friend.
We meet once a quarter on the first Thursday (in March, June, September and December) for a chat, refreshments & cake. We have professionals drop in to the meeting with useful information and advice. The meeting runs 10:30 – 12 and you can stop at the pub for lunch afterwards!
It’s a great place for speaking with other people in the same situation & for exchanging advice & information.
For more details contact Jane 0344 335 3694 or jhenderson@parkinsons.org.uk
There are 2 other Parkinson’s groups that meet in the Forest on a quarterly basis organised by Crossroads Gloucestershire so there is a group every month in different areas. All groups meet on the first Thursday of the month from 10:30 – 12.
The Coleford Group meets at Bells Hotel & Country Club, in January, April, July and October.
The Lydney group meets at Alvington Village Hall, in February, May, August and November.
