A unique woodland experience for all generations to enjoy

Toasting marshmallow

Bring people together

This is an experience tailor-made for family and friend get-togethers, youth group adventure days, or corporate team events. Spend time outdoors with friendly members of the Fat Squirrel Outdoor team, who will lead your group through a series of axe-throwing challenges before cooking you a campfire meal.

Rural axe throwing

A rural axe-throwing adventure

Axe throwing at Fat Squirrel Outdoor is surprisingly calming. We throw small hunting axes at rustic wooden tree rounds, set in a wide, open grassland space next to the woodland. Enjoy a beautiful Cotswold farm view to the soundtrack of birdsong while waiting for your turn to throw. Your host will lead a series of challenges tailored to your group’s abilities.

Sausages cooking over campfire

Enjoy real sausage hot dogs and toast marshmallow s’mores around an authentic campfire

Gather around the campfire to enjoy hot dogs made with award-winning real sausages (vegan alternatives available). Your host will cook your sausages while you enjoy some fireside chatter or explore the woodland. The experience will conclude with marshmallow toasting around the fire to make delicious s’mores. The authentic log-surround campfire is accompanied by benches for seating. Bring a blanket to stay cozy on cooler days.

Rustic woodland shelter

Stay dry in wet weather

We have rustic shelters that’ll keep you snug and dry during heavy rain.
