Drama classes for 7-11 year olds

Acting Up! provides exciting drama classes for children to discover all aspects of acting in a fun and innovative way.

I like my sessions small, to ensure each child is an individual, and receives the attention they deserve; but keep costs down; as a mum myself, I appreciate that family life is expensive.

Teamwork and games; improvisation; mime; text work and scripts; discussion and public speaking; relaxation; and confidence building, are some of the important aspects of this class.

The session called Rising Stars, is an hour long, and takes place in Churchdown on term time Saturday mornings at 11.15 am.

The first class is totally FREE.

This group  have recently worked on an adaptation of Cinderella, which was be performed as part of the Acting Up Summer Show Case, which took place in Tewkesbury in July 2022, during the town’s medieval festival weekend.

They are an engaging group with a lot of great ideas.
