Shining Stars Classes
Drama and play have huge benefits within a child’s development, especially in those crucial early years, and particularly when it comes to utilising those all important social skills which enable children to function as successful and happy individuals in all aspects of life. This class is ideal for 3-7 year olds.
Children will cover a variety of drama based games, trust exercises, mime and improvisation, basic characterisation, confidence building, and drama through the use of props, dressing up, stories and fairy tales. Some simple poems and prose work will be covered for the more confident readers.
Our younger members will have the opportunity to express themselves through discussion, and show and tell within these sessions. Literacy will play a big part of my teaching and where possible I strive to incorporate numeracy as well. A fabulous and educational introduction to the world of drama.
