Active Impact – Inclusion Needs You

Fully funded, high quality training on including disabled children and young people in all sorts of settings, groups and activities.

Our training sessions are fun, interactive and thought provoking. Sessions are co-delivered by trainers with varying lived experience including disabled, neurodivergent and non-disabled people. The Inclusion Needs You course will improve your skills and confidence in welcoming disabled children and young people to what you offer. We also offer free follow up support and guidance to help you implement inclusive practice at your setting.

Designed for everyone working with children and young people outside of school – in playschemes, youth groups, activity groups, after school clubs, nurseries and childminding, or in sports and arts sessions.

Active Impact – Neurodiversity Training

Fully funded, high quality training around ‘understanding and supporting neurodivergent children and young people’. A half-day session led by neurodivergent trainers with professional and personal experience – and it’s packed with insight. You’ll gain an understanding of neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD, and you’ll explore neurodiversity friendly communication. You’ll leave with practical ways to create environments where neurodivergent people feel safe, welcome and valued.
