The Steampunks of Gloucestershire bi-annual Steampunk Airship and Salty Sea Dog Pirate Festival.
On the Bank Holiday weekend, 25th, 26th & 27th May, 2024, the Gloucester Tall Ships festival, we are going to hold our own Steampunk Pirate Festival across the city over four or more locations. We’ll have the usual mix of music, mayhem, mirth and markets, and bring some well need Steampunk shenanigans to the whole weekend.
We are not part of the the Tall Ships Festival but I guess a lot of our attendees will want to visit the ships and get photos taken with Jack Sparrow and bring our own unique style of craziness to the whole weekend.
3 days of pirate shenanigans. Markets at The Folk of Gloucester Westgate St Glos and St Mary de Crypt, Southgate St Free entry during the days. Entertainment, activities and music.
Cafes and bars at the locations. Guide dogs welcome, dogs are allowed in St Mary’s anytime.
Pirate parade through Gloucester. Samm ship racing. Teapot racing. Tea duelling. Belly dancers, and all sorts of madness. treasure hunt and best-dressed pirate competition.
Family friendly. Disabled access at both locations.
