Move More camps involve children taking part in a variety of sports and physical activities as well as arts, crafts and board games.

We have spaces available for disabled children aged 5 – 7 years to attend our camps taking place at Cleeve School, Lakeside Primary School and Charlton Kings Infant School. Children who attend should enjoy being physically active and being in a social environment. If your child has a physical impairment, please let us know so we can discuss adaptations. Non-disabled children will also be in attendance.

Our camps benefit from an increased staffing ratio to ensure that children who require extra support can come along. If your child has/needs 1:1 support in school, please let us know before booking.

We will be running camps at the following locations throughout October Half Term:

  • Balcarras Sports Centre, Charlton Kings
  • Cleeve School, Bishops Cleeve
  • Lakeside Primary, Hatherley
  • Charlton Kings Infants School
  • Chosen Hill School, Churchdown
  • The John Moore Primary School, Tewkesbury

Cost: £27.50 per day, Monday – Friday, 9am – 3:30pm. Should this be a barrier to attendance please get in touch as we may be able to subsidise fees in cases of hardship.

Prior to booking, you will be required to complete an All About Me form. A member of the team will then be in touch to ensure our camp provision and your child are a good match.

To receive the All About Me form and find out more please contact Scott Milne, e: scott@move-more.org; t: 07932 738420.

Please note we expect our camps to be extremely popular and will not be able to cater for all requests due to the limited number of spaces available.

These sessions are part of Active Impact’s Of Course We Can programme and are supported by funding from Gloucestershire County Council.
