At Move More, we’re on a mission to instil a love of physical activity within all children, helping them to develop physical health, mental wellbeing, and social confidence. We believe that every child, regardless of background, ability, or need, deserves the opportunity to thrive through movement.
A large part of our work takes place in primary schools across Cheltenham and Tewkesbury, where we deliver high-quality curricular and extracurricular sport, PE, and health programmes. Alongside this, we provide inclusive holiday camps (both parent-paid and funded), community-based activities, and targeted swimming and cycling interventions.
As Gloucestershire’s Lead Inclusion School, we champion inclusive practice across the county — supporting schools, families, and community partners to ensure children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) have meaningful access to sport and physical activity.
Our commitment to inclusion has been recognised through the Inclusive Activity Provider Award, presented jointly by Active Impact and Active Gloucestershire.
During the 2023/24 academic year we worked with over 26,000 children and young people, and through expanding our inclusive work and partnerships, we aim to reach even more. Our vision remains clear: Every Child Thrives.

GL208NEInclusion statement
At Move More, we believe every child deserves the chance to be active, confident, and included. We welcome all children and young people to take part in our programmes, regardless of ability, background, or circumstance.
We are committed to creating safe, welcoming, and empowering environments where every participant feels valued and supported. Our sessions are designed to celebrate individuality, promote social connection, and remove barriers to participation.
We do not discriminate on the grounds of age, disability, gender, race, religion, sexuality, or socio-economic background. Where a child or family requires specific support, we will make reasonable adjustments to ensure they can fully take part. This may include smaller group sizes, sensory-friendly environments, or adapted activities. Where appropriate, we may also signpost families to alternative days, sessions, or provision that better meet their needs, ensuring every child has a meaningful and positive experience.
To help children prepare and feel comfortable before attending, we provide pre-event information in two formats – traditional written materials and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) – so families can choose the most accessible option for their child.
We recognise that some children may need a different approach to feel comfortable and confident. Anyone wishing to discuss specific needs or adjustments is encouraged to contact us in advance so we can work together to make their experience positive and inclusive.
At Move More, inclusion means more than access—it means belonging. Every child matters, and every child can thrive through movement.
