From seasoned boulderers to those taking their first vertical steps, we embrace climbers of all backgrounds with open arms. Our mission? To equip every climber with the tools they need to reach their climbing goals.

Boulders Cheltenham offers something for everyone; from high quality blocs spanning all grades and styles over two floors, to engaging kids clubs where our expert instructors introduce young people to the joys of bouldering in a safe, encouraging environment.

What do Boulders provide?

Kids clubs & Home Education classes:

Our term time bouldering courses are a progressive weekly club teaching movement and climbing skills to young people.

Building on the previous weeks skills, we aim to progress young people through a range of techniques classes that are both challenging and fun. Covering everything from footwork to flexibility, these innovative sessions are designed to give young people the skills to get the best out of the Olympics’ newest sport.

The important info:

  • Classes are separated into two age groups but cover the same weekly topics (7-9 and 10-13)

  • Courses are 5-7 weeks long depending on school half terms (syllabus is 12 weeks in total)

  • All equipment is provided

  • Cost is £75 (can vary depending on term)

 

The Project:

For 14-17 year olds these classes can either be booked for £15 per session, OR you can take out a Project Membership for £50 per month which will allow you to book one project course per week and also come down for independent climbing sessions whenever you like!

 

Give it A Go (Family, Kids & Adult):

Explore the world of climbing with the guidance of our expert instructors as you learn essential basic movement techniques and discover how to complete a thorough warm-up. Equipped with the right equipment and balance techniques, you’ll embark on a thrilling climbing adventure like never before!

Safety is paramount, and we’ll teach you risk-reducing climbing practices, including correct falling techniques and valuable injury avoidance advice, guaranteeing a secure and enjoyable experience.

 

En-Masse (Ladies & Non-Binary social):

Friday Evening 6.30 – 8 pm

Are you looking for other like minded ladies to climb with?

En-Masse is our ladies and non-binary social climbing club, it runs every week on a Friday is a good way to meet other climbers in a relaxed social setting.

There is no additional cost to join the class, you also get a free hot drink when you check-in for the class.

Everyone meets at 6.30pm with their hot drink to have a catch-up and then heads out for climb after.

 

Quiet Hours:

Every Monday 9:00am – 11am, no music throughout the centre for a more calm relaxing climbing experience.

 

Private sessions:

For individuals or groups looking for a bespoke climbing session. Prices and availability may vary so please contact us using the email provided for more information
